Description

At Alboe Farms, we take immense pride in the fact that our pigs are bred, born, and raised right here on our farm in a nurturing environment. We genuinely believe in the importance of allowing our pigs to be pigs, fostering their natural behaviors and instincts. Our pigs are born and raised in the lush, open pastures without any shots, medications, or vaccinations, ensuring they lead a wholesome life from the very start. We also allow our feeder pigs to nurse from their momma for the crucial first 8 weeks, all while having nutritious feed available to them. We’ve discovered that this approach gives our piglets the best start possible and helps them grow into vigorous and healthy animals. We raise a carefully selected mix of Duroc, Berkshire, and Hampshire cross pigs to ensure both extremely fast growth and deliciously tender meat. Additionally, all male piglets are castrated right on site at a young age to minimize stress and promote their well-being.
